Q. Can I order in-stock items with a pre-order
item?
A. You can, but please keep in mind, when you place a
combined order, you get a combined shipping discount. We cannot ship
the order until all items are in-stock unless you are willing to pay
for the additional postage. If you order in-stock items with a
pre-order item and wish for them to ship separate, please indicate
this at check out, otherwise the entire order will ship as one when
all of the items are in stock.
Q. Is my payment secure?
A. Yes. We use the internet standard for security - SSL
Secured 1024 bit encryption. This is the same technology as all the
giant internet stores use - amazon, ebay, etc. In addition to that,
our server is scanned daily by one of the most trusted names in
website security. Hacker Safe guards major websites including
Petsmart and Sony. Click on the Hacker Safe icon in the upper left
corner of every page for more info.
Q. Are you guys authorized retailer?
A. Yes, in fact we buy a great number of the items we sell
directly from the manufactures. The rest we buy from reputable
distributors who back the items we sell. You can contact some manufactures
and confirm this, in fact Master Replicas has confirmed our status
for us in the past. We are registered with them under our fictitious
name EC&C LLC, or Everything Cool and Collectible.
Q. Your name is Star Wars Attic, why do you carry
non-star wars items?
A. We carry a large variety of collectible memorabilia and
costumes from many areas of interest. We chose StarWarsAttic due to
the fact that the main focus of our interest is Star Wars and Star
Wars related items.
Q. What is address verification?
A. Address verification is the process by which our credit
card processing agency will verify that the shipping/billing address
you entered matches the one on your credit card statements. If your
credit card company does not support this, please contact them and
ask them to allow it.
Q. My credit card company doesn't support
Address Verification, how do I place an order?
A. There are several options. 1, contact your credit card
company and find out if this is something they will allow. 2, Place
the order by PayPal, money order, or cash. 3, Contact us directly
with your credit card information as well as your contact
information so that we may manually verify the billing details.
Q. Do you guys do
wholesale sales or discounts for large orders?
A. We do offer
discounts for large orders, if you are interested in placing a large
order, please contact CustomerService@StarWarsAttic.com
with a list of the items you are interested in as well as the
location they would be shipped to. In regards to wholesale, since we
are a small company, we do not currently offer wholesale pricing.
Q. Where are you guys located?
A. We do not have a brick & stone store front, we are
exclusively online at this time.
Q. I am looking for an item that you don't have
listed, can you get it?
A. In most cases, yes. Send an email to our CustomerService@StarWarsAttic.com
with the product information, and we will see what we can do.
Q. I have a question about a type of product or
a specific product, who should I contact?
A. All questions regarding product information, available
quantities, discounts, or items that are not listed on the site
should go to our CustomerService@StarWarsAttic.com.
Q. I ordered a pre-order or backordered item,
how will I know when you have them in stock and are shipping them?
A. For the latest information on products we have on pre-order or
backorder, please email us at CustomerService@StarWarsAttic.com.
Q. I ordered an item and I want to check the
status of my order, who should I contact?
A. CustomerService@StarWarsAttic.com.
Q. Who do you guys get your products from?
A. We deal directly with many manufactures and distributors
from all over the US.
Q. I am having trouble with the web store, who
do I contact?
A. You would contact our webmaster,
and give him a detailed explanation of the problem you are having,
what you were doing when it occurred, and if possible, an estimated
date & time that it happened.
Q. Where do you guys get your product
information from; Such as upcoming items (pre-order) or
release dates?
A. We get our information directly from the manufacturer in most
cases, from our distributors in others.
Q. Are you guys hiring?
A. Not at this time.
Q. Where is my item?
A. As we stated in our policies page: Most orders are shipped
within 2-4 business days after your purchase. UPS & USPS can
take up
to 14 days to deliver the item. When available, a tracking number
will be sent to you. Please keep in mind, while we carry most of
these items in stock, sometimes our vendors run out and for that
reason, we have had delays up to 3-4 weeks on some orders while we
wait for our vendor to restock. Typical turn-around from date pf
payment to date of receipt is about 2 weeks.
